Job Description

• Create, update, and maintain GIS maps and spatial datasets for telecom networks. • Perform spatial analysis for cell sites, fiber routes, coverage and network planning. • Manage and update telecom-related GIS layers. • Assist in coverage analysis, site feasibility, and network optimization. • Work with shapefiles, KML/KMZ, GeoJSON, and other spatial formats. • Ensure data accuracy, validation, and quality control of GIS datasets. • Generate thematic maps, dashboards, and reports for management. • Assist in legacy GIS data cleanup and migration. • Maintain proper GIS documentation and metadata. • GIS mapping software products (ESRI & QGIS). • Experience as a GIS Analyst, preferably in the telecom domain. • Strong understanding of spatial data concepts, projections and coordinate systems. • Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL/PostGIS or spatial databases (preferred). • Remote sensing & satellite image interpretation. • The ability to translate requirements into working solution scenarios. Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university. • Fresh or of relevant experience in the design, development & implementation of GIS systems.
