Data Center Technician - POWER

• Minimum of 06-year experience in IT/Power equipment, Infrastructure and system architecture of data center, 2-3 years of experience as a data center technician, or similar. • Hands on experience of maintaining HVAC, UPS, genset. • Able to troubleshoot any problems in Electrical DB ATS Panel / UPS Output DBS. • To schedule the Preventive Maintenance of the MEP System including UPS, Genset and A/C. • Demonstrate a positive professional approach at all times where ever possible the highest. • In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network and power equipment. • Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center power equipment. • Exceptional ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errors. • Install and maintain power equipment. • Monitor network stability and performance to ensure 24x7 operations and resolving service impacts as they occur. • Ability to keep up with advancements in data center infrastructure and technologies. • Willingness to respond to incidents and power failure events hours. • Responsible for monitoring/audit server operating systems and hardware. • Work closely with engineering, field technicians, and infrastructure vendors to resolve service issues. • Data center planning including cable management, airflow, electrical capacity, A/C, cabinet layout, and network fiber uplinks. • Responsible for providing installation (racking) services for all network and server hardware at the data centers per established standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, in adherence to power incident tracking, response, and documentation. • Manage the disaster recovery process including regularly schedule fail over tests • Expert in Power HLT & LLT • UPS and Power plant installation and maintenance • Data Center Cooling equipment • Structure cabling. • Good understanding of network Optical/Electrical. • Good understanding of LAN/WAN technologies • Handling of staff/team at customer site • Experience of handling customer complains • Provide off-hours Service Desk coverage • Hands-on experience of MS Office Qualification: Minimum 14x years having major in electronics/ electrical (power), relevant certifications/DAE will be a plus. Quota: Merit Salary: 70,000 /- (lump sum salary package) Candidates already in Government Service are required to provide NOC at the time of interview. 5 year age relaxation has already been added.
