Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in project accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Experience in budget management and financial controls
• Preference: Experience in government or public sector project accounting
• Maintenance of all financial records and accounts related to the DWDM project
• Processing and verification of project expenditures including payments to vendors, contractors, and service providers
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the project
• Budget monitoring and tracking of project expenses against approved budget allocations
• Processing of invoices and bills from vendors and contractors after technical verification
• Coordination with NTC Finance Department for release of project funds and reconciliation
• Maintenance of project cash flow statements and expenditure forecasts
• Preparation of financial variance reports comparing budgeted versus actual expenses
• Management of project advances, settlements, and reconciliations
• Documentation and filing of all financial documents, vouchers, and supporting documents
• Support to Project Director in budget preparation and revision exercises
• Tracking of contractual payments and retention money as per contract terms
• Coordination with Project Controller for alignment of physical and financial progress reporting
• Preparation of financial documentation for audit purposes
• Monitoring of vendor payment terms and ensuring timely processing to avoid penalties
• Support in preparation of cost analysis and financial feasibility studies
• Maintenance of fixed asset register for DWDM equipment and infrastructure
• Coordination with external auditors and providing required financial information
• Any other financial management and accounting tasks assigned by Project Director
