Job Scale/ Grade*: NFAPS-10 (Equivalent to BPS-20) • Leads the entire Research & Innovation Division, providing strategic vision for forensic technology advancement. • Responsible for approving and managing all R&D projects related to forensic software, hardware, and OSINT innovations. • Coordinates with external research partners, universities, and international forensic bodies. • Ensures that all research outcomes enhance forensic capabilities and operational efficiency. • Monitors division performance and ensures compliance with national and international forensic standards. A minimum of a local MS/Mphil (18 years) degree in Computer Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Information Security, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant degree from a local HEC Recognized University Or An equivalent foreign Masters degree recognized by HEC of Pakistan. A minimum of 10 years' working experience in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Network Security or Artificial Intelligence. Worked as a Team Lead for a minimum of 5 years in a large IT based company or minimum an Assistant professor at a Public University. Demonstrated leadership ability in research projects specifically related to developing of software or hardware tools for digital forensics, cyber security, mobile and computer architecture and Operating systems including but not limited to: Innovations in data recovery, network forensics, mobile forensics, and OSINT. Experience of mentoring researchers and supervising technical teams. Proven record of completed and ongoing projects in the field of Digital Forensics or Digital Domain. Expertise in utilizing digital forensic tools like EnCase, FTK (Forensic Toolkit), and open-source platforms is a plus.
