Law Officer

Job Scale/ Grade*: NFAPS-08 (Equivalent to BPS-18) • Report to and assist the Director Law. • Vet and review SOPs, laboratory protocols, and reporting formats for compliance with law. • Assist in litigation, disciplinary, procurement, and compliance matters. • Prepare case briefs, maintain records of legal correspondence, and update the legal database. • Liaise with external counsel and government law officers for effective representation in courts. • Support drafting of rules, regulations, polices and standard operating procedures. • Perform any other duties assigned by the Director Law or the Director General. A minimum of 1st Class Law Graduate from a local or a foreign University recognized by HEC preference will be given to higher qualification in the field of law. Or An equivalent foreign bachelor degree recognized by HEC of Pakistan. At least 8 years of post-qualification experience as a legal practitioner or experience in a legal or judicial appointment. Must possess at least five years of practical experience in a legal advisory role within the public sector, autonomous bodies or international organizations.
