Job Description

Conduct field studies and marine biodiversity assessments. Analyze marine ecosystems, species distribution, and ecological interactions. Use GIS, remote sensing, and statistical tools for biodiversity modeling. Develop and implement marine conservation programs. Advise governments, NGOs, and organizations on biodiversity policies. Promote sustainable marine resource management. Work with interdisciplinary teams, including marine biologists, ecologists, and policy makers. Manage projects related to marine protected areas, habitat restoration, and species conservation. Secure funding through grant writing and proposals. Any other responsibility assigned by the Management. Master’s or Ph.D. in Marine Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Higher degree/PhD in the above-mentioned disciplines from a foreign university will be given preference. At least 10 years of post-qualification experience is required in Marine biodiversity, planning and management, especially in the development sector. Strong understanding of marine ecosystems, conservation strategies, and sustainable resource management practices. Proficiency in project management, including planning, budgeting, and evaluation. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. Merit Job Location: Islamabad
