Areas of Responsibilities:
Before travelling or arriving at the Tournament/Camp:
• Ensure all players and officials have valid passports, visas, and any required medical clearances.
• Verify that playing clothing (primary + complete alternative set) fully complies with FIH Tournament Regulations (80% single colour per piece, goalkeeper kit distinct, exact advertisement/manufacturer sizes, two spare sets for blood-stained replacement, etc.).
• Confirm player numbers (back of shirt 16–20 cm, front of shorts 7–9 cm) and, for FIH Global Events, player names above the number.
• Ensure all sticks, goalkeeper equipment, and protective gear meet Rules of Hockey standards.
Upon arrival at the Tournament/Camp:
• Allocate rooms, inspect facilities, confirm financial arrangements, transport, and training schedules with the Liaison Officer.
• Submit the completed Team Entry Form.
• Ensure receipt of all FIH documents (Tournament Regulations, Code of Conduct, Anti-Doping Rules, Image Rights Policy, Anti-Corruption Policy).
• Organise completion and submission of all Acknowledgement and Agreement Forms by every team member/official.
At the pre-Tournament Briefing Meeting:
• Attend with stand-in manager (coach attendance not compulsory).
• Notify any amendments to the Team Entry Form in writing.
• Present samples of all playing kit and equipment for approval.
• Submit medical certificates for any protective equipment worn for medical reasons.
• Present passports of all players.
• Confirm satisfaction with lodging, meals, transport, and schedules; lodge complaints if any.
• Deliver all signed forms and the indemnity/financial responsibility statement.
Before a Match:
• Ensure timely arrival at the venue.
• Submit player numbers (via TMS or Tournament Director) for field and bench.
• Verify correct uniform colours per Appointment Sheet.
• Confirm captain wears armband/ribbon and all players are correctly dressed.
• Ensure suspended players do not enter technical areas.
During a Match
• Act as the sole person responsible for behaviour of everyone on the team bench.
• Manage player substitution procedure strictly per FIH rules.
• Authorise only registered doctor/physiotherapist (or self + on-duty doctor if none) to enter the field for injuries.
• Enforce the two-minute return rule after any on-field medical attention.
• Ensure no treatment on the field, proper bleeding protocol, and refreshment rules are followed.
At the End of a Match (or Shoot-out)
• Sign the Match Report (and Shoot-out Report if applicable).
• Ensure rapid clearance of the bench area.
• Supervise any post-match dope-control procedures.
During the Tournament
• Monitor notice boards and Appointment Sheets daily.
• Ensure correct colours and dress code for all matches and official functions.
Before Leaving the Tournament
• Complete and return all Medical Forms to the FIH Medical Officer.
• Settle all team accounts on the penultimate day and final remainder upon departure.
Additional PHF-specific duties
• Serve as primary liaison between the team and PHF.
• Enforce discipline and the PHF Code of Conduct.
• Handle all logistics, accreditation, and reporting.
• Submit comprehensive post-tour reports (performance, financial, player evaluation) to the PHF Secretary/Executive Board within 7 days of return.
Qualification and Experience:
- MBA or Bachelor’s (Hons) in Business Administration /Economics /Management or equivalent from a recognized university.
- 0-5 years post qualification experience. Hockey related Knowledge will be preferred

Appointment:
By Initial recruitment or By Transfer from among the officer of Pakistan Administrative Service or Provincial management Service of grade 17 and above Or By Deputation - An officer of BS-18 of any other service who meets the Terms of Reference for Service
Salary and Benefits:
PHFPS-3 Pay Scale + any other benefit admissible subject to the approval of President PHF.
