Will assist the NPD and DPD (Wildlife) in all the following tasks and any other task assigned by the NPD/DPD
To collect fortnightly progress reports from the three regions analyzed and reconciled with PC-I targets and if any short coming noticed, inform quarter concerned for rectification.
To assist PD in collecting and analyzing monitoring reports from three monitoring officers and any short coming noticed by three monitoring officers during monitoring, brought in the notice of Project Director and ultimately send to provinces for course correction.
Regularly check the progress report and bring in the notice of, pace of work of each division and inform quarter concerned to accelerate the pace of work.
Regularly reconcile field achievement figures with PC-I and if any short coming highlighted bring in the notice of quarter concerned for rectification.
Facilitate GIS Section in development of maps for areas monitored showing detail of activities.
Development of annual monitoring reports to PMU.
Determination of various types of reporting contents, formats and frequency.
Any other task as assigned.
Master’s degree (16 years) zoology, wildlife or Biodiversity with minimum 2nd division from a HEC recognized university;
At least 02 year of professional, relevant, post qualification experience;
Extensive knowledge of national and provincial forest policies, legislation, institutional framework and other forestry, biodiversity and natural resource management issues in Pakistan;
Experience of working with the multi-stakeholders including federal and provincial governments and research institutions;
Proven ability to work under pressure and time constraints;
Management skills and experience;
Flexible and willing to travel as required; and
Computer literate with excellent facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills.
