REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Sixteen (16) years of education or Master’s degree in IT, Computer/Software Engineering, Telecommunications or an IT related discipline (with at least 60% marks) from duly recognized university by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
• The candidate must possess at least 10 years of relevant IT experience with at least (02) years at Middle/Senior management from private sector or BPS-18 and above in case of Govt. / Semi Govt./Autonomous Body.
REMUNERATION:
The positions are offered market based lump sum package.
TENURE:
The employment will be on an open contract on lump sum pay package, with six months’ probation period.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Smooth conduct of Company’s billing operations in line with the billing schedule issued by CS Directorate.
• Ensure issuance of correct bills as per tariff approved by NEPRA.
• Monitoring cash posting process batch-wise as per billing schedule issued by competent authority.
• Coordination with the LESCO Head Quarter specially Customer Service Directorate for preparing monthly billing schedule & time table for the receipt of input data from filed formation as per pre-enter issue to them for batch-wise billing.
• Establishing liaison between field formation and I.T. Directorate for decoding & processing input data and dispatching output data.
• Daily Cash scroll receipt, posting & monitoring for all cash collection channel i.e. (i) Direct cash collection posting (ii) Online cash retrieval and posting (iii) Managing NUBCS (National Utility Billing & Collection System)
• Monitoring of daily Billing Batch & Cash file for 1-Link & NADRA & also responsible for preparing Cash Collection API for direct Cash Posting System in banks.
• Reconciliation of daily cash posting from all cash collection channels in office level & with Finance Director LESCO (Bank to Bank).
• Resolution of exception & errors pointed out during reconciliation process on daily basis by the reconciliation staff.
• Resolution of problems / issues faced by all cash collection channels in form of hardware and software on daily basis for the smooth running of banking cash collection application gateways.
• Analysis of all kinds of input / output data during billing & cash posting proceeding for the accurate billing & Correct posting of cash to respective consumers, being the largest company among all DISCOs the analysis consists of 6.5 million Consumer’s data on monthly basis.
• Monitoring and analysis all Daily, Weekly & Monthly output reports, Special Reports prepared as per requirement of Top management and filed formation for the review, analysis & timely decisions for getting the best result of the company.
• Assess and fulfill the training and development needs of Operations Staff within the computer center.
• Management & control over the Key Punch Section, Liaison Section, Coordination Section, MIS Section and Machine Room.
• Advise CITO on new developments in equipment and software.
• Review the developments in Computer Operating System, techniques and introduce the new changes which will improve effectiveness of Computer Operations.
• Plan and evaluate the yearly needs of Computer Stationary and ancillary equipment required for his department and to arrange procurement of those through CITO.
• Maintaining contacts with the equipment suppliers’ representatives and agencies to ensure that satisfactory maintenance and support services are available as per the requirement.
