Deputy Manager (Development) AMI

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Sixteen (16) years of education or Master’s degree in IT, Computer/Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (with at least 60% marks) from duly recognized university by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. • The candidate must possess 5 years of relevant AMI/IT experience from private sector or BPS-17 and above from Govt. / Semi Govt./Autonomous Body. REMUNERATION: The positions are offered market based lump sum package. TENURE: The employment will be on an open contract on lump sum pay package, with six months’ probation period. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Responsible for technical aspects of the system • Manage & log changes in the system. • Preparation of reports • Get the system tested through DM (Operations) • Monitor and manage the communication & networking Infrastructure. • System Administration & Infrastructure Management • Work with the DevOps team to make sure that proper maintenance is performed on the database servers. This includes overseeing upgrades, patches, migrations, etc. • Responsible for planning database failover strategy to making it highly available for the system. • He will be involved in database planning phase for his valuable inputs from performance, availability and storage aspects. • He will be responsible of planning and executing backup and restoration strategies.
