REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Sixteen (16) years of education or Master’s degree in IT, Computer/Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline (with at least 60% marks) from duly recognized university by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
• The candidate must possess 5 years of relevant IT experience from private sector or BPS-17 and above from Govt. / Semi Govt./Autonomous Body.
REMUNERATION:
The positions are offered market based lump sum package.
TENURE:
The employment will be on an open contract on lump sum pay package, with six months’ probation period.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Billing operations including system updates, as and when required by the filed staff & top management of LESCO.
• True implementation of tariff prescribed by NEPRA during routine daily billing process.
• For Routine work i.e. daily billing process batch-wise as per billing schedule issued by competent authority.
• Coordination with the LESCO Head Quarter specially prepared customer service directorate for preparing monthly billing schedule & time table for the receipt of input data from filed formation as per pre-enter issue to them for batch-wise billing.
• All operations of operating Staff including data preparation staff.
• For advising Manager MIS on ordering or modifying computer equipment in his center as per requirement.
• Changing the organizational structure & procedure within his section.
• Training and Developing of Operations Staff within his section.
• Management & control over Liaison Section, coordination Section & Machine Room.
• Review the developments in Computer Operating System, techniques and introduce the new changes which will improve effectiveness of Computer Operations.
• Supervision of overall time tables for jobs description, schedules of staffing.
• To assist Manager MIS for Lay down standard procedures for Operations (SOPs).
• To evaluate the yearly needs of Computer Stationary and ancillary equipment required for his section.
