Job Description

Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience in case of Ph.D or 08 years with Masters/M.Phil degree. 1. The incumbent should have demonstrated experience in working with the government on conducting and streamlining original research, data analysis and prepare policy notes for relevant stakeholders on non-traditional security issues, including Economic Security/Diplomacy, and Human Security. 2. Prepare policy briefs/notes on important meetings of SPPC on non-traditional security issues and coordination with the relevant stakeholders. 3. The incumbent should draft policy recommendations on non-traditional security issues including economic security, water and climate security. 4. Liaison with think tanks, universities and independent experts through digital and non-digital platforms. 5. Management and vetting of commissioned research projects on non-traditional security issues. 6. The incumbent will represent SPPC at relevant national/international forums and participate in policy conversations. 7. The incumbent should be able to organize background briefings on key National Security Issues for relevant stakeholders. 8. The incumbent will assist in preparation of presentations at seminars and other intellectual forums nationally or internationally. 9. The incumbent should have a strong background in managing large international conferences, seminars and workshops. 10. The incumbent will be required to deal with administrative and logistics matters. 11. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly. 12. Ability to work in a high-pressure, sensitive environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. 13. Any other task assigned by the Minister in-charge/ Chairman (SPPC) and Senior Policy Specialist. Ph.D or Masters/MPhil Degree with minimum 18 years of education from Higher Education Commission recognized University in Public Policy, Economy, Political Economy, Emerging Technologies, Cyber Security or AI Technology Policy.
