Purpose of the Position
The Dispatch Rider shall be responsible for the secure, timely, and efficient delivery and collection of official documents, parcels, correspondence, and other assigned materials. The role supports the Authority's day-to-day administrative and operational activities by ensuring reliable courier services while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with organizational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch & Delivery
• Deliver and collect official documents, files, parcels, and correspondence from government offices, banks, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned delivery schedules.
• Obtain acknowledgements and maintain proof of delivery where required.
• Handle confidential documents with integrity and discretion.
Operational Support
• Assist in transporting small office supplies and materials between locations.
• Support administrative teams in urgent dispatch requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of daily dispatch activities.
Vehicle Management
• Ensure the assigned motorcycle remains clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Monitor fuel consumption and report maintenance requirements promptly.
• Maintain valid registration, insurance, and other required vehicle documents.
Compliance & Safety
• Observe all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment while performing duties.
• Report accidents, delays, or operational issues immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of official information and documents.
Qualifications
• Minimum Matriculation (Secondary School Certificate).
• Valid Motorcycle Driving License.
• Basic literacy in Urdu; ability to read simple English documents will be an advantage.
Experience
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a dispatch rider, courier, or messenger.
• Experience working with government organizations, public sector entities, or corporate offices will be preferred.
