Director, CPSC (China Pakistan Study Centre)

Qualification: - • Ph. D Degree (applicants enrolled in Ph. D Program may also apply) in IR/DSS/Economics/Pol. Sc. or comparable discipline with excellent analytical ability and experience with particular focus on China, SCO and Central Asia will be preferred. Core Competencies • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a University, think tank, research institution, or policy-oriented organization, with minimum five HEC-recognized research publications • Strong leadership and team-management skills, including experience in supervising researchers and delivering quality outputs within defined timelines • Established professional networks with Chinese think tanks, research institutions, and universities, with experience in fellowships, joint research, academic exchanges and international collaborations • Experience in conceptualizing and leading research projects, policy dialogues, conferences, and bilateral exchanges Core Values • Leadership, teamwork, and mentorship, with a commitment to enhance organizational efficiency • Integrity, professionalism, transparency, and accountability in all institutional and research activities • Strategic vision and commitment to strengthening the Centre’s research excellence, institutional standing, and international outreach • Collaboration, innovation, adaptability, and a result oriented approach to advancing the Centre’s objectives.
