Manager Takaful

Master's Degree or 4 years bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Finance/Islamic Banking/Business Administration or relevant equivalent qualification from a local/foreign institute /university recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan with at least 60% marks. Relevant certification in Takaful. Islamic Finance or Shariah-related disciplines will be preferred.

Minimum 06 years of experience, with at least 03 years at senior level, preferably with a reputable Takaful or insurance organization. Candidates having experience in Takaful product development, underwriting, claims, Takaful operations, Takaful Window, re-Takaful, regulatory requirements and Shariah compliance, along with strong coordination and operational management skills, will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

The position of Manager Takaful shall report to the Head of Takaful Operations. To manage and develop the Company's Takaful business/function in accordance with Shariah principles, applicable regulatory requirements and the Company's strategic objectives.

• Assist in developing and implementing the Company's Takaful business strategy.
• Develop and review Takaful products, schemes and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with Shariah advisors/consultants on matters relating to Shariah compliance.
• Ensure that Takaful operations are conducted in accordance with approved Shariah principles and regulatory requirements.
• Review Takaful underwriting procedures, policies and guidelines.
• Coordinate Takaful claims processing and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Monitor re-Takaful arrangements and related operational matters.
• Assist in developing Takaful pricing, contribution structures and product features.
• Conduct market research and identify opportunities for growth in the Takaful segment.
• Coordinate with business units, branches and other stakeholders for effective implementation of Takaful products.
• Monitor operational and financial performance of Takaful business.
• Prepare management reports, business plans and performance analysis.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of Takaful records.
• Identify operational, financial, regulatory and Shariah-related risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders on Takaful-related matters.
• Assist in training employees regarding Takaful concepts, products, processes and Shariah requirements.
• Keep abreast of developments in Takaful, Islamic finance and relevant regulatory frameworks.
