Senior Specialist (Energy) (PPS-10)

• Liaise with Public/Private and Chinese counterparts for energy related CPEC projects in an efficient and effective manner in the light of long term plan; mature, prioritize and facilitate implementation consistent with best practices for efficiency and effectiveness. • Provide facilitation and assistance to line ministries at all stages of a project lifecycle-in the preparation of initial project investment proposals for projects, preparation of feasibility studies, the appointment of consultants/advisor for the project preparation feasibility study where required. • Assist in approval of projects in accordance with the requirements of bilateral understandings between China and Pakistan and rules & regulations of the Government of Pakistan by providing expert advice on the structuring and appraisal of energy projects. • Assist in the identification and management of any risks relating to energy projects. • Preparation of progress reports on energy projects. • Any other tasks assigned by the PD.
