Job Description

• Liaise with Public/Private and Chinese counterparts for all maritime and blue economy related projects in an efficient and effective manner in the light of long term plan; mature, prioritize and facilitate implementation consistent with best practices for efficiency and effectiveness. • Provide facilitation and assistance to line ministries at all stages of a project lifecycle-in the preparation of initial project investment proposals for projects, preparation of feasibility studies, the appointment of consultants/advisor for the project preparation feasibility study where required. • Assist in approval of projects in accordance with the requirements of bilateral understandings between China and Pakistan and rules & regulations of the Government of Pakistan by providing expert advice on the structuring and appraisal of all maritime, blue economy, offshore, coastal and Gwadar projects. • Assist in the identification and management of any risks relating to maritime, blue economy and Gwadar projects. • Preparation of progress reports on maritime, blue economy and Gwadar projects. • Any other tasks assigned by the PD.
