Job Description

Experience:

⚫ Minimum of 15 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in
Information/Cyber Security.
⚫ Proven experience of at least 3 years in PSDP projects in Information
security/Cyber Security at Federal or Provincial Government level.
⚫ Demonstrated expertise in information security policy formulation at the
national or provincial level.
⚫ Strong understanding and experience of operations and governance of
Federal Government ministries, divisions, and departments.

Qualifications:

Minimum 16 years having major in Computer Science/ Telecom or related
engineering discipline.
At least one international Certification in Cyber Security management,
including CISM, CISSP or other equivalent certification, is strongly desired.
PMP, PRINCE2, and other equivalent management certifications are
preferable.

Job Description:

Lead in overall planning, execution, and governance of the FCERT

Provide day-to-day leadership and management oversight of assigned Fed-CERT divisions, programs, or workstreams.

Translate strategic objectives into actionable implementation plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Oversee execution of cyber security initiatives to ensure quality, security, timelines, and budget compliance.
Coordinate with technical, operational, and administrative divisions to ensure integrated project delivery.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend corrective actions to the Project Director.
Support preparation of progress reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management, Planning Commission, and other oversight bodies.
Facilitate coordination with federal ministries, departments, regulators, and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable policies, standards, and government rules.
Support capacity building, knowledge transfer, and institutionalization of Fed-CERT capabilities.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across project teams
