Visit the official website at www.njp.gov.pk, select the Sign-Up option, and provide correct CNIC number, Valid Email address & Password to create your account. Follow the verification instructions received on your email to activate your account.

02
Account Access

What should I do if I forget my password or cannot Sign In?

Click the Forgot Password option on the Sign In page, enter your CNIC & Email Address & click on Request Reset Code option. If you continue to face Sign In issues, contact the NJP team through the official landline numbers & email provided on the portal.

03
CV & Profile

How can I complete or update my CV/profile on NJP?

Sign In to your account and by clicking CV Manager > Build CV option on your Dashboard you will get to see the complete sections of CV including personal information, education, work experience, and other relevant details. Add all the required data and supporting documents where needed. Review all information carefully and ensure that it is accurate and up to date before applying for a job.

04
Job Applications

How can I search for government jobs and apply online?

After Signing into your Candidate account visit the NJP Homepage, search for vacancies using the available search options/filters or scroll down the NJP Homepage, & review the available jobs and eligibility criteria. Open the relevant vacancy and submit your application through your NJP account before the closing date.

05
Eligibility & Criteria

Why am I unable to apply for a job despite having the required qualification?

Job applications are subject to the eligibility criteria and filters specified by the recruiting department. Ensure that your profile contains accurate educational details and that your qualification matches the prescribed requirements. If you believe the criteria have been applied incorrectly, contact NJP support team with the job title, advertisement details, and a clear screenshot of the error via email at info@njp.gov.pk. Requests concerning qualification equivalence or eligibility interpretation may need to be referred to the concerned employer.

06
Deadlines & Edits

Can I apply for a job after the closing date or edit my application after submission?

Applications must be submitted within the advertised deadline. Once a vacancy closes, the portal does not accept new applications unless the employer extends or reopens the vacancy. The ability to edit a submitted application depends on the portal's available functionality and the status of the application. Review your information carefully before final submission.

07
Experience Calculation

How is my work experience calculated, and why is overlapping experience not counted separately?

Enter your employment history with accurate joining and leaving dates, job titles, and other required details. Experience is assessed according to the applicable job requirements and the portal's validation rules. Overlapping employment periods are not counted twice toward total experience. Ensure that your work history is accurate and supported by relevant documentation where required.

08
Application Status & Shortlisting

How can I check my application status, and who is responsible for shortlisting?

The recruiting department is responsible for scrutinizing applications, determining eligibility, shortlisting candidates, and making recruitment decisions. NJP only provides the online application submission platform and related technical support.

09
Fees & Free Service

Is there any fee for registering or applying for jobs through NJP?

Registration and job applications through NJP are free of charge. Currently NJP does not collect any application fee from candidates. However, candidates should carefully review individual job details for any instructions issued by the recruiting department and remain cautious of unauthorized persons demanding payment in exchange for jobs or recruitment assistance.
